Ellison Primary School in Newcastle-under-Lyme, celebrated their brand new Sunshine Gym in style with a special opening during their Summer Fayre!

Sunshine Gym installed a selection of outdoor gym equipment for pupils attending Ellison Primary School.

The installation was completed in time for the grand opening, which took place at the school’s annual Summer Fayre.

This special occasion allowed for year six pupils, who would soon be embarking on their next adventure at secondary school, to try out this fantastic equipment!

Amongst the installed equipment was a range of eight different machines which included both single and multi-user equipment.

These eight machines can be used by up to 14 different pupils, and special mechanisms mean that all parts work independently of one another. Thus ensuring that pupils can all exercise at their own pace, and dismount from equipment safely without affecting the other user.

The multi-user equipment installed included:

Whilst the solo user equipment included:

All of the above pieces of equipment focus on cardiovascular exercise, whilst also improving co-ordination, balance and mental agility.

Please note: none of our children’s equipment is based solely on muscle training or strength building, as we believe that this type of exercise is not beneficial or relevant for children.
