Beardall Fields Primary & Nursery School opened in 2014 after relocating a mile from the original Victorian site, which dated back to 1872. The new school building is bright and spacious with beautiful school grounds including a playing field, allotment, trim trails, sporting courts and, more recently, a children’s outdoor gym.
Our range of children’s equipment built for users under 1.4m (4’ 7”) tall, and the new outdoor gym is perfect for encouraging pupils to take up healthy habits which they can continue into adulthood.
Fun and engaging, our Double Health Walker allows children to enjoy walking in a non-competitive environment. The Double Slalom Skier is designed to get the heart rate up as well as show youngsters that exercise can be fun.
The Waist Twister is great for social interaction, allowing up to three children to exercise and talk at the same time.
Other pieces of equipment in the project include a Sky Stepper, a Rower and an Arm & Pedal Bicycle, all offering an opportunity for children to work out their upper body and arms as well as their lower bodies.
The equipment was installed onto the school’s grassed area, with grass matting laid underneath to protect the natural surface from wear and tear.
