The motto for Burton-on-the-Wolds Primary School is "Inspire, Nurture, Flourish”, and that’s exactly what the school aims to do. They ensure a wide range of experiences, especially through educational visits, music, sport and the performing arts.
To add these experiences, the school recently invested in a new outdoor play area for students to use, including outdoor gym equipment. Our Double Health Walker allows two children at any one time to set their own pace in a light cardiovascular workout.
The Double Slalom Skier makes it fun for children to get their heart rates up whilst swinging from side to side, enjoying the outdoor setting. The Children’s Waist Twister is a great warm up piece of equipment that promotes social interaction and flexibility.
All the new outdoor gym equipment was installed on high-quality grass matting that can withstand heavy footfall whilst keeping the grass underneath intact.
Sunshine Gym efficiently installed the outdoor gym equipment during the half-term break to minimise disruption to the school day and provide the students with new equipment upon their return.
