Fun is the lesson of the day when youngsters at Emmaus Church of England Catholic Primary School take part in an outdoor gym session.
Teachers at the Liverpool school say the look on the children’s faces is wonderful when they go outdoors to exercise.
The school wanted to improve the outdoor space for students and add to the PE provision.
It maximised the use of an area of hard landscaping with the addition of a Children’s Motiv8 Multi Gym Unit.
With eight workout stations, the unit offers a comprehensive cardiovascular workout with the focus on exercise for enjoyment.
It incorporates our most popular pieces with two Health Walkers, Slalom Skiers, Sky Steppers and Horse Riders linked to minimise the footprint of the equipment and maximise the social opportunities of an exercise session.
The Children’s Energise is also available at Emmaus Primary, doubling up on the Health Walker and Slalom Skier again to boost the fun factor.
The Children’s Waist Twister completes the outdoor gym, offering three stations for even the most reluctant gym users to stretch and move their bodies.
Choosing multi user equipment helped Emmaus to make the most of its outdoor gym budget which also creating new and interesting ways for children to take part in physical activity with friends.
