St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary School, Alsager

A South Cheshire school has invested in a fantastic new outdoor learning space and fitness facilities so children can enjoy time in the open air all year round.
St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary School in Alsager is encouraging all students to take advantage of the improvements.
Broxap, and sister company Sunshine Gym, worked with governors and teachers to supply and install outdoor gym equipment in both school playgrounds.
The school opted for a mix of children’s outdoor gym equipment to bring variety – and fun – to break times and PE sessions.
Lessons in other subjects will also be taken beyond the traditional four walls of the classroom and into the natural environment.
A bespoke Newcastle Senior Shelter was created for the school by our design team.
The 10-metre long shelter includes an end panel clad in PETg UV to provide protection from the elements.
The shelter will allow St Gabriel’s pupils to enjoy outdoor learning opportunities throughout the school year.
A Motiv8 multi gym has also been installed in this part of the school grounds.
Featuring a Double Health Walker, two Slalom Skiers, two Sky Steppers and two Horse Riders, the equipment offers eight fun exercise stations.
In the adjacent playground, an Energise multi gym, incorporating Health Walkers and Slalom Skiers, has been installed.
This is complemented with four individual pieces of kit: a Sky Stepper, Children’s Rower, Children’s Arm and Pedal Bike and a Children’s Horse Rider.
