Teachers and governors at Widney Junior School are achieving value for money from their Sunshine Gym investment.
From an initial purchase of five pieces of kit in 2019, the school has twice added equipment to the gym extending its functional characteristics and retaining the interest and enthusiasm of children.
Its first purchase resulted in a total of nine user stations, with the installation of a Children’s Arm and Pedal Bike; Children’s Sky Stepper; Children’s Double Health Walker; Children’s Waist Twister; and a Children’s Double Slalom Skier.
It went on to add a Children’s Rower later in that year while its most recent purchase has seen the addition of the Children’s Motiv8 Multi Gym.
The Children’s Motiv8 has eight stations built specially for users under 140cm in height.
It includes a Double Health Walker, Double Slalom Skier, Double Sky Stepper and Double Horse Rider.
The Motiv8 is one of our most popular Multi Gyms for children as it adds lots of opportunities for cardio workouts, raising the fun factor at the same time.
Children love exercising together, while the inclusion of Slalom Skiers and Horse Riders are entertaining as well as effective as users imagine they are flying down the slopes or galloping along a country lane.
The outdoor gym area is in use by the school throughout the year and complements its adventure playground, agility trail and table tennis area.
It also opens up opportunities for children to keep fit during break and lunch times.
