Northcott School in Hull have had a brand new outdoor gym installed for use of their KS3 & KS4 pupils.
Northcott School in Hull is a specialist school which caters for children ages 5-16. Their ‘specialist’ school status means that they aim to provide new and innovative ways to encourage learning within their school grounds. And this new outdoor gym is a perfect, new and unique approach to physical education.
The equipment installed needed to be suitable for the school’s older pupils, therefore our range of Outdoor Gym Equipment for KS3 & KS4 pupils was installed.
This range of equipment is suitable for use by those above 140cm/4’7″ in height. Making it perfect for pupils ages 11-16.
Amongst the installed equipment were various ‘multiple-user’ machines. These go a long way to helping to promote social interaction and communication. Something which this particular school is focused on.
Though the equipment encourages interaction, it does not rely on it. All multi-user equipment has independent moving parts meaning that you can set your own pace and goals.

This is a wonderful piece of equipment which allows users to engage in friendly competition either as a solo competitor, or alternatively as a team.
This equipment is great fun, yet also provides users with a full body cardio workout which can improve both heart rate and lung capacity.
