The Wheelchair Accessible Tai Chi Discs are specially designed to allow wheelchair users to get an upper body workout from a seated position.This wheelchair accessible version of our ever popular Tai Chi Discs can be used for a physical challenge or a flexibility-based warm up, but they can also be used to stimulate mindfulness exercises in the style of the traditional martial art.

User Guide

Instructions

  • Position yourself in front of the equipment.
  • Use one hand to grasp one handle of the wheel.
  • Turn the wheel clockwise or anti clockwise.
  • Change hand and repeat the same action.
  • Grasp the two handles of a wheel at the same time and turn the wheel continuously.

Function

  • Train wrists, elbows, shoulders and waist.
  • Enhance flexibility and the cardiopulmonary function.

Suggested Usage

  • Beginners: Up to 5 minutes
  • Intermediate: Up to 7 minutes
  • Advanced: Up to 10 minutes
