After the success at Dawley Park Councillor Derek Owen requested that another outdoor fitness area be created with a similar purpose in mind. The fitness area was placed adjacent to the already existing playground so that parents could watch their children, whilst getting exercise and improving their fitness.

We installed a series of different pieces of outdoor gym equipment that are used to improve fitness, strengthen muscles and bones. Cardiovascular equipment such as the Sky Stepper gives users a full body workout using their own body weight as resistance. The Sky Stepper allows you to set your own pace meaning that it is up to you whether you enjoy a high or low impact workout.
