Installing Sunshine Gym outdoor gym equipment has been an exciting and impactful initiative.
A selection of outdoor gym equipment was made, including a Rower, Sky Stepper, Horse Rider, Balance Beams, Double Sit Up Bench, and Twist N Step.
The main focus of the outdoor gym area is our Energise Multi Gym, comprising two of our most popular pieces, the Double Health Walker and the Double Slalom Skier, for great fun and social exercise.
Our Arm & Pedal Bicycle targets improved flexibility and mobility in the leg and arm joints, and the Double Slalom Skier creates a unique way of encouraging social relationships.
The Combi Pull Down Challenger & Power Push and Parallel Rails are great for building muscle and strengthening the upper body and arms.
The equipment was strategically placed in a designated area of the school grounds, ensuring proper spacing and safety measures. Professional installation was carried out, and the area was landscaped with artificial grass, removing the older grass to create an inviting and functional outdoor fitness space.
Installing outdoor gym equipment has brought numerous benefits to the middle school, providing an alternative form of physical activity for students who may not be inclined towards traditional sports and contributing to a sense of community and school pride. The outdoor gym has also become a focal point for health and fitness education, with teachers incorporating it into their curriculum.
